AoS batrep: 3 Places of Power

So I played 2 more games, 1 game was not battlereport material for a number of reasons. But the latest is. I wanted to try out a Warrior Brotherhood battalion 2k list and Piotr, one of the local players at my GW store, picked up the challenge. Not knowing I was going to deploy the battalion. He used a pretty fluffy list but in the end it was still an entertaining battle. Played 18 december 2016.

Anyway let’s see how Arturo faired, now without his trusted mount.

[AoS-battlereport] The Breakthrough

So I played one game at the Eurobash for Age of Sigmar (not much interest amongst the usual residents at the bash). This game was between me and my mate Grey Seer Star making it a bit fluffy.

The Story sofar.

After losing the Realm gate they regathered their forces and started to reinforce their current position. Not knowing their position would soon be put to the test.

Soon an army or rabble of Skaven vermin approached. Bent on getting through to an unknown destination. “Arturo” would have non of it and ordered his troops to make sure not one Skaven would make it through his lines.

The Ritual

The Story so far.

Arturo’s” next task lay deep within a countryside full of hills. Here he was to reopen another realmgate. Arturo and his warhost came there without any resistance which he found odd. But nevertheless he let his Lord-Relictor “Amortea Luminu” start his Ritual to open the gate.

Soon the Seraphon appeared once again on the field, only this time it was not to aid “Arturo“. But they attack his warhost without warning. A short warning ran through “Arturo’s” head but he needed to be focussed on the task ahead. He needed that Realmgate open so more of his Warrior Chamber could come from the realm of Azyr.

Storm the Walls

The Story so far.

After consolidating the Pinnacle together with the Seraphon, the next task “Arturo Boreas” was send on to investigate a nearby Stronghold. Tales were told of a Duardin lord gone crazy. It was “Arturo’s” task to see if this Stronghold would be a danger if left unchecked in his rear during his campaign.

A Convergeance of Fate

The Story so far.

After securing the much needed beachhead around the Realmgate it was time to venture out. Trying to claim a strategical point outwards was the intended goal that was set as task upon Arturo’s shoulders.

Arriving at the outskirts of the region where this Pinnacle was standing, Arturo was met by a small band of humans. Discussing their intentions the humans offered their help in securing the Pinnacle.

In the distance dust clouds appeared and “Welkin” soon came down to tell that there were two Chaos warbands also closing in on the Pinnacle. Arturo’s set up his troops on a hill overseeing the land together with the humans. As soon as he did this some weird looking Reptilians came into being on the other side of the vale.
